For the Second time last February 2, the incorruptible heart relic of St. Camillus de Lellis arrived in the country for its Filipino devotees and it is set to have a pilgrimage tour for hospitals and churches across the country. This March 23-24 from its original home at the Saint Mary Magdalene church in Rome, Italy. The Incorruptible heart relic of St.Camillus will stay at the Archdiocese of San Fernando, Pampanga making it one of its last few stops before it departs the country on March 31.

Being the Patron Saint of the sick and health workers, devotees are invited to venerate before the preserved relic of the very heart of St. Camillus he was know to be a very dedicated priest and confessor. St. Camillus also founded a ministry that helps and cares for the sick they are known for taking care of them as if the sick people are living images of Christ serving the sick as if they are serving God. St. Camillus De Lellis was born in 1550 at Chietti, Italy he died in 1714 and was canonized by Pope Benedict XIV in 1746.

This Saturday, March 23 the kapampangan devotees are expected to flock at the archdiocese of San Fernando, to personally see and touch the heart relic of St. Camillus De Lellis. The Rite of reception of the Incorrupt heart of St. Camillus will be at 7:00 am the cathedral will be open for the public at 1:00pm on the said date and a holy mass will be celebrated after. The veneration will resume at 6:30 and will be closed at 12:00 midnight. On March 24, Sunday the veneration will resume early at 4:00 in the morning until its departure for the Diocese of Caloocan.
