The hype of festive food parks is very evident nowadays, and the Culinary Capital of the Philippines, Pampanga, is ready to get along the newest trend.
The rise to popularity of food parks was first felt on early 2016. It stemmed from establishments such as StrEat Maginhawa, and was then followed by multiple food parks along the area.
And only a year after, the newest food market trend expanded in Pampanga where food parks almost simultaneously popped-up like mushrooms in different towns in the province.
The first identified food park in Pampanga is the BAGA (Barbeque and Grillers Association) Manila. It is located in Vista Mall Pampanga grounds in Barangay San Agustin, City of San Fernando. During the 2016 Christmas season, it also opened in front of Robinsons Starmills main entrance.
BAGA Manila offers wide variety of dishes—mostly grilled—such as chicken, and pork barbeque, grilled fish and seafood, sausages, and international dishes like shawarma, takoyaki, teriyaki, Vietnam Salads, and Malaysian Nasi Lemak, among others.
MODERNO Food Park, located along McArthur Hiway in Barangay Telabastagan, City of San Fernando, is also one of the remarkable food parks in Pampanga. It opened in the late 2016 with a promise of bringing and and modern food presentation for Kapampangans.
MODERNO Food Park is famous for its crafty interior such as utilizing container vans into rooms that can be used for workshops, meeting or craft room.
Aside from its artistic interior, sumptuous foods can also be seen in this food park. There is steak, flavored chicken, burgers and fingers foods, sisig, tokwa’t baboy and many more to try on.
In 2017, Muceno Food Park opened its doors in the Angeles City. The 25-stall food park offers a variety of dishes, including local and international, or fusion of the two.
Concessionaires of Muceno Food Park are said to be carefully hand-picked to please and satisfy the discriminating tastebuds of Kapampangans.
The Yard Angeles City is also a haven for Kapampangan foodies who wants to take a gastronomic adventure in one place.
It offers both good food and entertainment with its 29 stalls and different live performances in its first shop in Pandan Road, Angeles City.
The newest, biggest and one of the most famous food parks in Pampanga is COMOS food park. Comos us proudly showcasing 70 stalls in an open area in Villa Filipina, Barangay San Juan in the City of San Fernando.

GastroPark Royale, meanwhile, is one of the first food parks outside the two major cities of Pampanga. It is located along McArthur Hiway in Barangay San Vicente, Apalit, Pampanga.

GastroPark Royale also offers entertainment through solo singing performances, live bands and stand-up comedies everyday.
Mexico, Pampanga also has its share on the food park hype in the province through the newly-opened Nuevo Mechico strEAT Food Park.
Located just along Jose Abad Santos, Nuevo Mechico will surely satisfy your cravings of street foods, Filipino cuisine, pasta, coffee, pastries and other desserts, Korean food and may more!
And the newest addition to food market series in Pampanga is the Yum Hive Food Park located in Angeles City near the Heritage District.
Its 27 food stalls with different menu is expected to play a distinct role in the development of the culinary and tourism industry of Angeles City.
Completing our list of go-to food park in Pampanga is the soon-to-open Yatu:Taste the World Food Park in the City of San Fernando.
Yatu, which is a Kapampangan word for “world”, is a perfect term to describe the experience the food park will give you once you visit it.
Although there is no official list of its tenants yet, Yatu promised to offer famous dishes from all over the country once it finally opens its doors later this year.
The rise of these already-known and frequently-visited food parks is said to be a manifestation that Pampanga is indeed the Food Capital of the Philippines.
