Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, has further strengthened its presence in the Clark hub by launching a new direct flight route between Clark and Tagbilaran, Bohol. This marks the airline’s seventh domestic destination from Clark, significantly enhancing connectivity for travelers from northern and central Luzon.
The daily flights will commence on October 21, 2024, providing passengers with greater access to Bohol, a province renowned for its stunning natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and unique wildlife. Cebu Pacific’s latest route aligns with the airline’s commitment to offering more travel opportunities within the Philippines.
In conjunction with the launch, Cebu Pacific is holding a seat sale until August 15, 2024. During this period, passengers can book flights from Clark to Tagbilaran for as low as PHP 1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges. The travel period for this promotion runs from October 21, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific’s President and Chief Commercial Officer, expressed excitement about the new route, emphasizing the airline’s dedication to making domestic travel more accessible. “We are thrilled to launch our direct flights between Clark and Tagbilaran. Bohol is known for its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and unique wildlife. This new route supports our commitment to provide every Juan with more opportunities to explore and discover the Philippines, one island at a time,” Lao stated.
In addition to the new Clark-Tagbilaran route, Cebu Pacific has recently resumed direct flights from Clark to Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, and Puerto Princesa, further enhancing connectivity to the Visayas-Mindanao region. The airline also operates flights from Clark to other domestic destinations such as Caticlan and Cebu, and international destinations including Bangkok, Hong Kong, Narita, and Singapore.
Currently, Cebu Pacific serves 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
