SM malls across Pampanga have once again shown their strong commitment to education and community development through their active participation in this year’s Brigada Eskwela, the Department of Education’s (DepEd) annual school maintenance program.

Partnering with DepEd, SM Supermalls organized and mobilized employee volunteers to contribute to school beautification efforts, repairs, and clean-up drives—ensuring that local schools are ready to welcome students into safe, inspiring, and learner-friendly environments.

SM Pampanga Malls in Action:
SM City San Fernando Downtown collaborated with the Lourdes 1 Day Care Center, where SM employee volunteers came together to repaint, clean, and revitalize the learning space. Their collective effort showcased the true bayanihan spirit, reinforcing the value of community-led action.

SM City Pampanga lent its support to Alasas Elementary School, with teams providing hands-on help in refurbishing classrooms and communal areas. The initiative not only refreshed the school’s facilities but also uplifted the morale of both teachers and students.

SM City Clark partnered with Anunas Elementary School, transforming the school grounds through a dedicated day of volunteer work. From landscaping to minor repairs, the project aimed to create a more vibrant atmosphere conducive to learning.

SM City Telabastagan focused its outreach on Telabastagan Integrated School, where they donated cleaning supplies and materials—an essential contribution to ensuring that the school maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards for returning learners.

Long-Term Commitment to Community
This initiative is part of SM’s broader advocacy to support education and community resilience. By consistently joining Brigada Eskwela year after year, SM not only fosters corporate social responsibility but also nurtures partnerships that benefit children, teachers, and the future of local communities.
