Quintessential Comfort Food in Pampanga

Pampanga is better known as the “Culinary Capital of the Philippines”, so if you’re in for a culinary tour in Pampanga, here are quintessential suggestions on must-try restaurants that offer the best dish of the province:

KUSINA NI ATCHING LILLIAN – There’s an ancestral house in Mexico, Pampanga where you can make reservations and enjoy their original Kapampangan cuisine. Food is set by Pampanggo culinary personality Atching Lillian Lising-Borromeo (“atchi” in Pampanggo means older sister).

You can pick some greatest favorites as well as requested Atching Lillian to consist of some unique dishes. So here’s what they had:

  • Mushroom soup with chili leaves
  • Adobong Puti
  • Biringhe
  • Bobotung Asan

They also have interesting sites inside where you can enjoy a savoring feast. There was no air-conditioning in the dining area and it was a nice thing the weather was pretty pleasant.

Here is the rundown of the menu:

  • Ensaladang Pako
  • Adobong Pugo
  • Sinigang na Lechon
  • Kare-kareng Laman Dagat
  • Piniritong Lumpiang Ubod

Famous crisp pan de bagnet can also be further to any menu for additional P100.

Anyway, Bale Dutung is located in Villa Gloria Subdivision, Angeles City, Pampanga.

When creating reservations, Bale Dutung will require a 50% down payment to be deposited to their official account, while the remaining balance can be established in cash after you eat at the venue.

EVERYBODY’S CAFE –  The authenticity of this restaurant is so unique, where you can find a very delicious fried frog also called as “Betute”. Prices were a little bit pricey knowing that the restaurant looks like an eatery. But the food was actually not bad. And here are some of their menu that you may also try:

  • • Murcón
  • Tapang Kalabaw
  • Palabok

    • ko Salad

Everybody’s Café located in Nepo Mart, Angeles City, Luzon, Philippines.

ALING LUCING’S SISIG – Here is the place where you can find the best sisig dish in Pampanga. The place is usually like a Pinoy eatery, it’s not too fancy but they offer some bestselling Filipino dish that you just need to try and here are some of their menus:

  • Pork Sisig
  • Sisig w/ Liempo
  • Sisig w/ Bangus
  • Sisig w/ Tilapia
  • Lechon Kawali

RAZON’S HALO HALO – They offer one of the best halo-halo in Pampanga. You must try their simple yet excellent mixture of the halo-halo because of its heavenly taste. Another thing that you may really appreciate is the overall taste of the halo-halo from the crushed ice to its simple sweet ingredients. But they also served some of the best selling menus that you must also try:

  • Pancit Luglug
  • Sizzling Bulalo
  • Tapsilog
  • Dinuguan
  • Sizzling Sisig
