Park Inn by Radisson Clark Chefs bag consecutive wins at OPFBEX 2025

Park Inn by Radisson Clark strengthened its culinary legacy as Chefs Melvin Tiamzon and Jamaica Juachon claimed the championship in the Professional Category of the Culinary Cook Off at the One Pampanga Food and Beverage Expo (OPFBEX) 2025. The competition was held on September 14 at SMX Convention Center Clark.

This win follows their 2024 victory, marking a historic back-to-back achievement that reaffirms the hotel’s strong presence in Pampanga’s food scene.

The theme, “Kapampangan Fusion,” challenged chefs to blend local tradition with global influences. The duo impressed the judges with their dish, Pesang Asan en Papillote, a refined take on the Kapampangan classic Pesang Asan. Using the French parchment-cooking method, they created a flavorful fusion that honored Pampanga’s roots while embracing modern techniques.

Park Inn by Radisson Clark General Manager Lorenzo Tang praised the team’s dedication. “Winning two years in a row among an impressive lineup of chefs is truly remarkable. This victory reflects the passion and hard work of our culinary team who consistently deliver excellence to our guests.”

The Culinary Cook Off featured top chefs from the Hotels and Restaurant Association of Pampanga (HARP).
