The Province of Pampanga held the turnover ceremony for the ‘Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics’ across seven provinces in Central Luzon on Tuesday, June 25. The event marked a significant step forward in improving healthcare accessibility in the region.

First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, representing President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., led the ceremony. She handed over the symbolic key to the provincial governors of Central Luzon, signifying the official transfer of the mobile clinics. These state-of-the-art Toyota Coaster 2024 models are equipped with essential medical equipment including x-ray machines, laboratory tools, and ultrasound devices. “The nice thing about this is mayroon nang x-ray machine, lab equipment, at ultrasound na nakadikit sa loob para walang nakawan,” the First Lady remarked.
During her address, the First Lady also announced plans for next year, stating that another batch of mobile clinics would be released to serve 1,500 municipalities nationwide.
Assistant Secretary of Health, Atty. Paolo Teston, highlighted that the initiative stems from the First Lady’s Lab For All Program, which is dedicated to making healthcare services more accessible to the people.
Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda of Pampanga expressed his gratitude to the First Lady and the national government for their ongoing support. “Malaking tulong po ang mga mobile clinic para sa pagsasagawa ng mga consultation at diagnostic procedures sa mga komunidad. Dahil dito, mas marami pang kababayan natin ang maaabot ng ating mga programang pangkalusugan,” he said. He emphasized the significant impact these mobile clinics will have on enhancing healthcare services in remote and underserved communities across Central Luzon.
The turnover of the Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics is a major advancement in the region’s healthcare infrastructure, promising to bring vital medical services closer to the people who need them most.
