The famous Kapampangan grilled-restaurant from the Culinary Capital of the Philippines, Funnside Ningnangan, finally opened its doors recently to serve the ever-warming, cheerful heart and taste buds of the people from Mexico, Pampanga and neighboring towns.

Located along the accessible highway of Jose Abad Santos Avenue (JASA) road, Barangay Lagundi, here, locals can now taste and whiffed the delicious smoke of the one of the most favorite restaurants in Pampanga at the vicinity of their town.

The 2, 500 square meter lot restaurant which opened last February 10 was the 8th of its branch and, same with the other branches, it has an open-air, Filipino native-zen style of ambience that comes with a humongous LED centerpiece, television monitors everywhere for movies and teleseryes and a free wifi as you enjoy your delectable meals.

Funnside Ningnangan restaurant offers a wide array of favorites — from grilled meat and seafoods, it also serve dishes like bulalo, sinigang, chopsuey, seafood, salads, soups for the customers who were on a rush and one of its specialties, chicharon bulaklak – all flavored the Kapampangan way.

Once your huge appetite is full, desserts will not be gone on the list of the restaurant.

Ningnangan was derived from the Kapampangan word which means ‘ihaw’ or grilled.

The restaurant also has branches from different towns in Pampanga, particularly in Sto. Tomas, Apalit, Angeles City, Guiguinto and Pulilan in Bulacan and Caloocan City.

Funnside Ningnangan was also featured last May 2015 in one of the articles of GMA Network as one of the yummiest restaurant in Pampanga.
