SM Pampanga Typhoon Uwan Advisory ensures safety, early closures, and temporary shelter for mallgoers
As Super Typhoon Uwan brings strong winds and heavy rains to Central Luzon, SM Supermalls in Pampanga are taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and comfort of the public.
SM City Clark, SM City Pampanga, SM City San Fernando Downtown, and SM City Telabastagan have announced early closures for November 9, 2025, to protect customers and employees. SM City Clark will close at 7 PM, while SM Hypermarket will remain open until 9 PM for essential purchases.

Each mall is also welcoming those who need temporary shelter. Designated safe areas are open to the public, equipped with free Wi-Fi, charging stations, and help desks. Overnight parking fees are waived to allow guests to stay safely during the typhoon’s peak.
SM Pampanga management highlighted that these measures are part of their commitment to community care and readiness during severe weather. Essential services like supermarkets and pharmacies will continue to operate where conditions permit, ensuring access to necessities.
Over the years, SM malls across the country have served as reliable refuge centers during disasters. Their doors remain open to families, workers, and travelers seeking shelter from extreme weather events. This initiative continues that tradition of care and preparedness that Pampanga residents have come to trust.
Authorities and mall management encourage the public to stay informed through official mall social media pages for updates on operating hours and safety advisories.
Through these unified efforts, SM Pampanga malls reaffirm their role not just as shopping centers but as vital community partners during times of crisis.
