Over 87 Million Filipinos Empowered
More than 87 million Filipinos who have registered for the National ID can now access their digital version online and leverage stronger authentication methods. This collaboration between PSA and DICT aims to fulfill their shared vision of a “Makabagong Pilipinas,” where digitalization facilitates efficient and secure service delivery.
Introducing the Digital National ID
It is the official online counterpart of the physical National ID. Accessible through computers or internet-connected smartphones, it serves as a valid proof of identity and age for government and private transactions. Filipinos can access their National ID online through the dedicated website (https://philsys.gov.ph/ephilid/) or the eGovPH app, which requires facial verification for added security.

DICT Secretary Ivan E. Uy believes the Digital National ID will “revolutionize the way we do things in the government.” This modern system streamlines transactions, enhances service delivery, and ultimately simplifies business processes for everyone.
National ID eVerify: Streamlined Authentication
For secure and efficient authentication, PSA and DICT have introduced the National ID eVerify (https://everify.gov.ph/). This platform caters to government agencies and private establishments, particularly those prioritized by PSA and DICT.
National ID eVerify offers a robust solution with features like advanced facial recognition technology for real-time verification against the National ID registry. It also includes the National ID Check, a feature that allows easy verification of any National ID format, including the Digital National ID, by simply scanning its QR code.
