The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Central Luzon is on track to graduate over 62,000 households from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program by year-end.

This positive outcome highlights the program’s effectiveness in empowering families to break free from poverty.
According to DSWD Regional Director Venus Rebuldela, the 4Ps program has already uplifted a total of 271,974 families in Central Luzon. These families have collectively received financial aid exceeding P1 billion.
“The 4Ps program goes beyond simply providing financial assistance,” explained Director Rebuldela. “Our goal is to improve the overall well-being of these families by investing in their human capital. This includes addressing social concerns, ensuring access to education, and promoting good health practices.”
The program’s reach extends beyond local families. Director Rebuldela emphasized that the 4Ps program has also provided support to 45 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
The DSWD’s commitment to Filipinos in need goes beyond the 4Ps program. Through their Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, they’ve provided medical, educational, and financial aid to 352,329 individuals in Central Luzon. Additionally, the Sustainable Livelihood Program has empowered 2,994 individuals to become self-sufficient through business ventures and employment opportunities.
