Locals Enjoy Good Food and Good Company at Cusina De Parilla
Cusina De Parilla has become one of the town’s favorite dining spots for locals who crave authentic flavors and a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant continues to attract diners who enjoy simple, honest food made with care.

Their Pork Sisig captures a perfect balance of salt, fat, acid, and heat. It goes perfectly with an ice-cold beer or Coke and good company. You cannot compare their sisig to Aling Lucing’s or even Mila’s Tokwa’t Baboy because it has a different approach. It stands on its own, and for me, we really like it that way.

The Moroccan Spice Chicken is another standout. The meat is juicy, and the flavor complements the other dishes. We asked the staff to serve it half spicy and half not because we brought our daughter to dine at their restaurant. The spicy half had a kick that’s strong but tolerable, perfect for those who like a bit of heat.

Their Kansi Bulalo also impresses with its comforting blend of sour and gingery notes. Even without batwan, it delivers rich flavor and tender beef that fits any occasion, especially on a rainy day. I think they used turmeric, which adds depth and warmth to the soup’s flavor.

Service can be a bit slow during weekends. The staff once forgot our Coke Zero and took two follow-ups before serving the water refill. Still, the food made up for it. We enjoyed our meal and agreed that we’ll be back to try more from their menu.
