Phinma Corporation is gearing up to revolutionize insulation solutions with a hefty investment of P700 million towards the establishment of a state-of-the-art facility in Pampanga.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Union Insulated Panel Corp (UIPC) took place on May 22, in the promising locale of Brgy. Manibaug, Paralaya, Purok 1, Porac, underscoring a momentous stride in the project’s journey.

In an exclusive interview, Phinma‘s President and CEO, Eduardo Sahagun, shared profound insights into the forthcoming insulation panel factory, illuminating its potential ramifications across diverse sectors.

Sahagun articulated the facility’s significance, particularly for entities grappling with storage challenges for perishable items such as fruits, vegetables, and fish. “Those who lack the capacity to store their products or harvests such as fruits, vegetables, and fish can utilize this facility to prevent spoilage and extend the lifespan of their goods,” Sahagun stated.

Expounding on the venture’s ethos, Sahagun underscored its commitment to empowering farmers and fishermen by providing them with avenues for additional revenue generation through the manufacturing facility. “We can also export our products because we have world-class equipment that can be sold to neighboring countries if needed,” he added, hinting at the global scale of the project’s ambitions.

The insulation panels slated for production at this avant-garde facility are poised to cater to a diverse array of industries, spanning from cold storage facilities to housing, hospitals, and data centers, as delineated by Sahagun.

The completion timeline for the insulation plant is firmly set for 2026, signifying a proactive stride towards fulfilling Phinma vision of pioneering cutting-edge solutions to address contemporary challenges across multifarious sectors.
